Luiza Boaventura

Luiza Boaventura started to study ballet at seven years old in Uberlandia, Brazil, at Classical ballet school of Uberlandia and graduated in 2005, under direction of Guiomar Boaventura. From 2010 to 2013 joined Dance Alive National Ballet - FL/ USA. She also performed with Gulf Coast Ballet Theatre, Civic Ballet of Volusia, Jacksonville Ballet Theater, Grupo Mineiro de Dancas Classicas-Brazil, Classical Ballet of Tampa, as a guest artist. In 2013 joined Alabama Ballet under direction of Tracey Alvey. Luiza’s featured roles with Alabama Ballet include the tittle roles in Gisele, Romeo and Juliet, Coppelia, Sugarplum and dew drop in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker , Cinderella, Blue girl in the Sir Frederick Ashton’s Le Patineurs, La Sylphide, Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Agnes DeMille’s Fall River’s Legend , among others.
