Brittany Hillman
Brittany Hillman, a native of Prattville, Alabama, began her dance journey at the Centre for Performing Arts, where she thrived as a competitive dancer and assistant teacher. Thanks to the high-quality training and opportunities she received there, Brittany was accepted into the prestigious Dance Management Program at Oklahoma City University. While at OCU, she performed as a member of the OCU Pep Team and The American Spirit Dance Company, gaining invaluable performance experience.
After graduation, Brittany launched a successful professional career with Silvertree Productions, performing for five years at theme parks and venues nationwide. She later advanced to Entertainment Manager for Six Flags Frontier City Theme Park, while still touring and performing with Silvertree. During this time, she also served as Director of Communications for The World of Magic touring production and performed as a magician’s assistant. Her career continued to expand as she produced her own show for Six Flags’ 2019 Fright Fest Season.
Brittany’s passion for education eventually led her back to the studio setting, where she joined the faculty of Dance Unlimited Performing Arts Center in Oklahoma City. During her three years there, she served as office manager, dance educator, and co-director of the Vibe Dance Company, while also choreographing for the Bethany High School Pom Team. In addition, she was a dedicated and sought-after Pure Barre instructor, teaching across three studios for four years.
Since returning home to Alabama in 2020, Brittany has become an integral part of Evolve Studio for the Arts, serving as Office Manager, Artistic & Technical Director for the Annual Spring Productions, and Co-Director of the Evolve Dance Company. She is also a nationally award-winning choreographer, having received numerous accolades from prestigious competitions both for Evolve and other studios across Alabama.
Brittany oversees Evolve’s Assistant Teacher Program, a role close to her heart as it allows her to mentor the next generation of leaders and educators. She is deeply committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and inspiring environment where students can thrive, discover their passion, and share their love of dance with others.
Thrilled to be celebrating Evolve’s Sixth Season, Brittany looks forward to continuing to grow the studio, create meaningful opportunities for students, and give back to the community she loves.
