Emily's passion for her job is only surpassed by her love for each and every child she works with. She began her training as a very young child and competed through the levels of USA gymnastics. She also trained extensively in dance and competed as well, earning many overall awards. She has been actively involved in the sport of gymnastics and dance for over 25 years. Emily attended Troy University before joining the faculty at Centre for Performing Arts as one of the head competitive team coaches. Many of her individual students and classes went on to win national titles. While at the Centre, she also taught beginning-advanced levels of gym, preschool creative movement, and strength/stretch conditioning classes. Presently she also serves as co-director of Topsy Turvy, a preschool fitness and tumbling program.
